we are situated in the northwest Iceland in a beautiful river valley off from noise and hectic rush. The old house from 1938 very nice with individual cozy rooms and the new house architecturally very successful with each other linked for a a guesthouse with a restaurant for 26 persons. We can also offer a summerhouse for 4 persons from September – June. Guesthouse Brekkulækur is the ideal place for individual travelers to explore the northwest Iceland. Have a look to the biggest seal colony Iceland’s, Waterfalls, hot springs and also museums and other attractions and in the evening you relax in our restaurant with a good homemade meal!

- Daily social walks with a guide around our farm. The guide talk about how to live on the country side in Iceland and about Icelandic flora and fauna and of course he is ready for questions! 2 hours incl. coffee and snack. Price: 20.-EUR depending on group size
- Horse riding for advanced riders 25.-EUR (1 hr.)
